Econo Lodge Sevierville-Pigeon Forge on the River

We got a great price and would stay here again. Our room had two queen beds and plenty of space, with a small table and a couple of chairs, though there wasn’t really anywhere comfortable to sit. The bathroom was tiny, but the shower had nice hot water. There were some water marks on the walls and a few cracks, which didn’t bother us. Out the back door was a very small patio.

We chose not to spend much time in the room, checking in late and leaving early. The main reason we wouldn’t come back is that it was too far from most of the attractions we wanted to see. I stayed one night with my daughter. The gentleman at check-in was kind and courteous, and for what I paid, the place was about what I expected. We booked two queen beds but used only one because the other had visible hair and dirt on the sheets, which looked unchanged. Some parts have been updated, though the building is still old. Most things seemed clean, but the bathroom had ceiling tiles and dark-looking grout on the floor. The river-side door opened onto a plain little concrete slab with a chair and table.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spotless and roomy. The rates were reasonable too, and the location made everything convenient. We had a great three-day trip and would come back for another weekend up here.

The rooms were clean, and it was nice having a balcony that looked over the river. They also have laundry, though there’s no breakfast. They were upfront that housekeeping wouldn’t service the room during our stay. The location was decent, and while the rate felt a little high, places in the area were expensive and this was still cheaper than most. No complaints, I’d stay again.
