Serenity Mountain Pool Lodge

The cabin was filthy, with vomit on the carpet, bed skirt, and nightstand in the second bedroom on the main level. That should not have been missed, and it seemed the place hadn't been cleaned between stays. The carpets were dirty throughout, especially in the game room, and there were dead bugs and dust all over. The sofas were stained and disgusting. The game room refrigerator didn't work and leaked water, and the hot tubs never got hot. I absolutely would not recommend staying here.

We felt uncomfortable and afraid to touch anything, especially with everyone working through Covid and sanitizing. It seemed like no sanitizing had been done here. There was a terrible smell as soon as we opened the door, and the old furniture was shabby and stained. The carpet was dark and stained throughout, with dust bunnies and hair on the floors. One bedroom had vomit on the carpet and bed skirt. The downstairs refrigerator leaked and didn't work, and the hot tubs wouldn't get hot.

I wouldn't rent this cabin again. There were lots of problems: the upstairs bathroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling, the bathroom sink near the kitchen leaked, and the kitchen ice maker couldn't be used. The theater room never played a full movie, even after several calls, and once we got a movie going it stopped halfway and wouldn't work again. Using the kitchen sink also made the shower shut off until the kitchen water was turned off, and no more than two people could shower at once. Two games were out of order. When I called management after the trip, they said the issues didn't qualify for compensation. I overheard the general manager say we didn't know how to use Apple and didn't know what we were doing, then laugh. That made me angry. We did know how to use it, but Eden Creat doesn't care. They only care about charging you for things that don't work. I do not recommend this property.

Bring your own bed top sheets and propane tank if you stay here. The tank was empty when we tried to barbecue, and when I called, I was told we had to replace it ourselves. That's ridiculous for the amount we paid. They didn't provide top sheets either. The place and customer service are awful, and they don't care. Stay somewhere else. It's not worth the money.
