The Inn at Apple Valley, an Ascend Collection Hotel

We loved the indoor pool, and the mini fridge came in handy for leftovers from the generous portions at nearby restaurants. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The toilet handle hadn’t been installed quite right, but the toilet still flushed, even if it took a little figuring out at first. Everything we wanted to do was close by, so this would be my choice if we return.

The hotel was decorated so festively for fall, and I loved the fresh apple smell throughout. Our room was clean and roomy, with very comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed or asked about. They were also fine with our grandkids acting like normal kids. We’ll definitely stay again.

The breakfast was fantastic, though it got a little crowded, so maybe a second serving line or counter would help. The lobby has coffee available all the time, flavored creamers, and tea bags. Our room was the best I’ve had in Pigeon, and everything was pristine. The breakfast trays were clean, the desk staff were attentive, and the cleaners were great. Just an amazing visit.

We picked up two of the hotel’s robes, and they’re comfortable and well made. The breakfast is included, but it was just okay. There’s an indoor and outdoor pool, a hot tub, a fireplace, and a spot for complimentary coffee, cider, and tea. Our room was spacious and nicely updated, with a view of the outdoor fireplace from room #315. The whole place was so clean and cozy, and the hallways smelled like apples. Staff were very friendly. It’s right on the strip, close to everything, and the trolley stop is at the hotel corner if you’d rather not drive. This was our first stay after years of visiting the Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge area. I definitely recommend it and hope to come back.
