We arrived at 11:30 p.m. and basically went straight to sleep, so finding a cockroach in the room the next morning made me nauseous. The room’s finishes and furniture were worn, the sheets underneath were dirty, and the toilet barely flushed. Breakfast was sparse and the coffee lukewarm. At the desk, the woman didn’t speak English, so her son had to talk with us. He said we should have complained earlier. The desk said the manager would call, but there was no apology or offer to come look at the room.

I’ve never posted a bad review before, despite traveling often, but this was the worst motel I’ve stayed in during 57 years. We didn’t use the second night we’d booked, and I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone. I’ve never had an issue with wyndham, but I’ll be contacting them about this location. The room was dirty and smelled bad, with grimy walls, torn, smelly bedding, an outdated interior, and a toilet that wouldn’t flush. We left the lights on because of the roaches. The owner or manager came into the room without knocking while my teen was alone there, then asked whether we had a dog. We didn’t. His roaches were roaming around. At check-in, the clerk took a while to come to the desk, then yawned and seemed annoyed the whole time, even though it was midday. I’d reserved and prepaid, but he wouldn’t give me a downstairs room. I’m disabled, and stairs are difficult and dangerous for me. The downstairs rooms mostly sat empty during the day and a half we were there. I asked about canceling, but learned I’d still have to pay, so I tried to make it work. Columbus, IN hotels were booked, and we had a wedding to attend.

The woman at the front desk was very nice, but the room was disgusting, dirty, and dingy everywhere, including the walls. The bathroom looked extremely outdated and cheaply done. I’m hoping we didn’t bring any bugs home. This is the worst room I’ve ever stayed in, and I wouldn’t recommend it or stay here again.

Good value, with a clean, comfortable room and polite, friendly service at the front desk. It’s close to the interstate and main road, yet traffic noise was barely noticeable.
