Hampton Inn Minneapolis/Shakopee

The breakfasts were so good, especially the waffles. They’re what hotel waffles should taste like. Felicia was managing the desk when we arrived, and she was great. We’d called the night before our red-eye flight to ask about getting in early so we could sleep after landing in the morning, and she arranged it quickly. I can’t wait to come back.

I’d happily book here again next time I’m in the area. My king room looked and felt brand new, right down to the walls, carpet, and bed. The glass shower was a favorite, and the AC kept the room comfortably cool. One of the best Hampton Inns I’ve stayed in.

Breakfast was a highlight, with a good range of familiar continental options that should suit different tastes. The front desk team were professional and accommodating, and the hotel felt clean, cared for, and welcoming. It’s easy to find and has plenty of parking. Hampton Inn Minneapolis is a pleasant, economical place to stay, and I’d recommend it to travelers.

Felicia really made the difference here. My TV wasn’t working, so she came up herself to look at it. When it couldn’t be fixed right away, she moved me to another room and gave me a credit for the trouble. She was professional and clearly cared about guests being satisfied. The room was spotless, the lobby felt welcoming, and the whole place seemed well maintained from check-in onward. I’ll be back because of Felicia and the care this location puts into keeping things clean. This is how a hotel should be run.
