Motel 6 Cincinnati, OH

I stayed Friday 7/25-7/27. The area didn't feel safe, the rooms weren't what you'd reserved and didn't look like the pictures, and the price was ridiculous: $250 for a king smoking room. I don't smoke and hadn't reserved that room, but mine had been given away by 6pm even though check-in was at 3pm. I accepted it to avoid a random $50 cash deposit for my dog, who was supposed to stay free. Don't stay here. If I could have booked somewhere else, I would have.

I've stayed there twice. It's clean and comfortable, and they have smoking rooms. I recommend it.

The room was okay and clean, though not great, and the freeway noise was constant. You get what you pay for, I guess. They don't tell you until arrival that pets have to stay in a crate, and they won't allow a do-not-disturb request. I asked to skip housekeeping because I had work calls and didn't want interruptions, but they refused, which was super awkward. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're just crashing for the night. Unfortunately, I'm stuck here for 5.

For the money, this is the best place in the area. I stayed a couple of weeks, including July 4th, and had all the service I needed. The highway traffic hum drowned out other noise, so people never bothered me. It's a Motel 6, so I got everything I needed at a great price. There were plenty of outlets and USB ports by the bed, lots of lighting, and I especially liked the soft yellow glow from the light above the headboard.
