The lobby was bright, clean, and fresh, and you can see signs that the building used to be nice. The place is close to B'ton, and our room was large with a balcony and a nice view. It has a pool, hot tub, gym, and free breakfast, though the food was the lowest quality possible. The problem is how neglected and run down the rest of the building feels. The hallways and rooms are nothing like the lobby. There were no vending machines, and despite the advertising, nothing to buy to eat or drink. Our supposedly non-smoking room reeked of smoke. After swimming and showering, I found the carpet damp and sticky. My feet were sticking to the sheets after I walked from the shower to the bed, so I had to get up and clean them with a washcloth. It was late, so I was too tired to ask for a different room. The old, worn-out mattress made sleeping hard, as did the loud creaking every time someone upstairs stepped. The pillows were tiny and cheap. Nearly everything seemed scratched, dented, or stained, including the furniture, walls, wallpaper, and tub. I looked at other reviews too late, and most of the good ones seem to be from “anonymous,” probably the owners. I don't recommend it.

The location was the saving grace, with everything just a short distance away. The food was standard but decent. The pool and hot tub were closed, and the gym was dark and dank, with flickering lights that made it hard to exercise. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

I've stayed here twice, each time for a week, hoping it would be better. It was actually worse. The only real upside is that it's the cheapest place close to Burlington. If price and proximity are all you care about, it may work, but the other reviews are right. The rooms smell awful, like wet socks or a wet dog, and I wouldn't walk on the floors without shoes or socks. My balcony door only stayed locked and closed if I blocked it from sliding, and the curtain wasn't attached at one end, so light came in all night. The internet cut out several times while I was working. I was charged twice for my booking and would have missed it if I hadn't checked my credit card closely. The overall atmosphere felt unsafe, and the clientele seemed sketchy. I didn't feel safe leaving anything in my car, so I brought my bike inside every night. If you can afford another place, I'd recommend that.

I travel often, and this was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Check-in looked clean, but the rooms were awful. Mine was supposed to be smoke-free, yet it reeked of cigarettes and other strange odors. There was mold in the bathroom, water damage on the ceiling, holes in the wall, molding coming loose, and wallpaper peeling away. I was with my two-year-old son and couldn't have him sleep there, so I asked to move to a room like the website photos. The night-shift front desk woman was understanding and very helpful, but the next room smelled terrible too. We tried four rooms, all nasty and smelly. I didn't want to reload the car and find somewhere else late at night, but I had no choice. We stayed only an hour or two. I asked for a refund and was told to call the next morning because no manager was on duty. The location's manager was rude when I spoke with her and acted like I was lying. I offered to send pictures and videos or have her check each room herself, but she got an attitude and hung up. I've tried reaching out many times since, but they don't answer. Corporate got me nowhere. The service and conditions were the worst I've experienced at a hotel. Don't put yourself through the headache and disappointment.

We were very disappointed. The room smelled like tobacco, the mattresses were badly worn and uncomfortable, and the bedroom carpet was dirty and sticky. You really shouldn't walk on it barefoot. At 8 a.m. there was no food left for breakfast, and they hadn't refilled anything, including fruit and yogurt. Staff could use a lesson in basic customer service, like being polite and welcoming. The man at the front desk was wearing only socks, no shoes, which I'd never seen before. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
