We got exactly what we needed: fresh sheets and towels, memory foam beds, AC, Direct TV, a full-size fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The room was dated but refreshed, and the motel was quiet, so we could rest while our family camped nearby in the heat and rain. No bugs, and the soap was Bath and Body Works. I'd read the reviews and didn't know what to expect, but it felt like a hidden gem. A few residents looked like they'd been there a while, but everyone was friendly and waved. The place is also a bait shop, and the fishermen were nice. Check-in was easy, and the woman was warm and welcoming. It felt family-run. Across the road, the parks by the dam were pretty, well kept, and had nice playgrounds. There's a beach nearby, too. Wayne, the old man at the nearby gas station, was nice. We also had breakfast at Lisa’s Cafe nearby. The people were nice, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I'd stay here again. Great value!

The staff were nice, the beds were in good shape, and the location by the dam is amazing. The room was just okay, with two holes in the wall, a fridge that didn't look great, a couple of stains on the floor, and some dirt around the trim. Still, it can work for a quick stay.

It's a great deal to launch for just $2, and it gives you access to this part of the river. If you can, please make a few repairs to the boat launch.

The room was basic and a little rustic, so don't expect a five-star motel. Still, the beds, linens, towels, shower, fridge, and microwave were clean, and the room's minor lack of polish didn't really bother me. The staff tried to help with any concerns. For fishing at the dam, the location is hard to beat. I'd definitely stay again.
