The manager and her husband were attentive and very nice. Our room was clean and looked great, and the price was about average for the area. It felt well worth the money.

The service was professional and kind, and the room was comfortable. It was only 11 minutes from the event, which made things really convenient. Thank you!

I left and found a much friendlier place up the road. Before that, I’d called to reserve a room and had a hard time understanding the English on the phone, though I eventually got a confirmation number. At check-in the clerk said I had no reservation because they don’t take dogs. I’d already discussed my dog with the booking clerk and agreed to their outrageous $150 deposit. My dog is exceptionally well trained, and I have no doubts about its behavior. The woman was argumentative and confrontational, and seemed to be suggesting I was lying. The confirmation number should have made it easy to check whether the booking was real. I didn’t want to risk losing my deposit over a piece of grass or lint on the floor. These people are abhorrent and should be sent back to where they came from if they’re so unhappy living here.

I called the owner around 10 a.m. to arrange a one-night accessible room for my handicapped wife. He said he had one and told me I didn’t need to pay then, just give him my name. When we arrived, he was at the front desk and handed me a key. I checked the room before bringing my wife in, and it wasn’t handicapped accessible. I went back to ask him, and he said that room was rented long term. I reminded him he’d said he would save me an H room, and he just laughed, “hahaha.”
