The staff were friendly, and the hotel was quiet. The lobby, breakfast area, and room were clean, and the towels were good quality. The location just off the highway was convenient. The bed was okay, but the pillows were awful. The room was sparsely furnished, with only a desk chair, and the cheap toilet seat shifted when I sat down. The air conditioner only pushed out cool air without cooling the room much, the mini fridge wasn’t cold, and the hallway entry door stuck. I even found a roach on my shoes. Breakfast had coffee, juice, hot water, cereal, muffins, bagels, and hard boiled eggs, but most of the bananas were brown. It was too expensive for the amenities.

Angie handled my reservation and made the stay more enjoyable, thank you. It’s a great place to stay and much more affordable, though they don’t have the hot, microwave type breakfast like Hampton.

The staff are friendly and the place is clean, but the rooms have no soundproofing at all. With the highway so close, you hear cars passing all night, and you can hear neighbors talking and moving around through the walls.

The location is perfect if you want to leave and find somewhere else to stay. Morning staff were kind, and one employee walked through the room with me to note some of the problems. There were plenty of banana nut muffins and cinnamon raisin bagels, and the outlets were in the wall. But for a newly renovated motel, this place felt like a dive, and it’s sad to see Hilton keep going downhill. I’ve stayed in motels across the country, and this was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. They charged a $4 bottle of diet Coke to my room because they don’t take cash at night. The handicap shower was already broken, new pictures were still lying on the floor, the carpet was pulling away from the wall, and paint was bubbling and ready to peel on the outside door. There was no bathroom ventilation fan, and dead flies were in the window. Night staff seemed about incompetent: I asked for an extra pillow and was told there wasn’t one, even though I could see extra linen in the laundry room across from my room. Breakfast was minimal, with no biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, waffles, or eggs. There was oat milk and plain bagels for the kids, and the Folger coffee was absolutely disgusting.
