A real nice touch is the side room off the breakfast area. Read the story about how Show Low got its name, then have a look in there. It’s unique and original, made just for this hotel. The breakfast bar was above average, with friendly helpers keeping it stocked, and there’s a speciality waffle maker too. My room was clean, modern, and stocked, and the outdoor facilities were just as good.

We liked this place enough to stay twice in just two weeks. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful, so the whole experience was great. Breakfast could use some work, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker and doesn’t change my five-star rating. A hidden gem if you’re in the Show Low area!

We’ve been here for two and a half months of a six-month stay while I help rebuild the clinic after being hired as chief of radiation oncology at the Summit Cancer Center. This hotel has become home for my wife and me, and we’ve formed lifelong bonds with the people here. Nate, the manager, is fabulous. The staff keeps my wife engaged while I’m busy at work, and Anthony and Katy have helped Danielle Bellini with so many tasks. When my tire burst, Anthony, the assistant manager, was right there to put on the spare. Sydney is thoughtful and makes the best cookies. Katy and Savannah are loving, caring, and courteous. Janet and Shannon in the kitchen try to accommodate our vegetarian diet, and keep carrots for blue eyes (horse) and the other horses in their refrigerator. Recently, my wife became very ill and was admitted to the hospital while I was at work. I couldn’t leave my patient until later, so Janice called to tell me Nate was taking her to the emergency department for care. We owe her life to Nate and Janice. The cleaning ladies keep the rooms very clean, and the hotel’s generous spirit and service mean a lot to us. Moving on will be difficult, especially leaving the people and horses. One day my wife and I will have our own cancer center in this town, and the hotel will be the first to know. We’ll use it for our conferences. Best, Danielle Bellini (CEO and Founder, I AM STILL ALIVE, LLC) and Dr Vatsal B Patel, MD, MBA, DABR (cancer specialty doctor).

The room was tiny, about the size of a walk-in closet, with barely any room to move around. Breakfast could’ve been better.

The back patio was a great place for my wife and me to sit and enjoy the weather, and breakfast was fantastic. Even the attendant serving it was cheerful and upbeat. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff greeted us with smiles and pleasant conversation, and they were helpful throughout. Anthony, the manager, really came through when I needed a last-minute room on an unusually busy weekend. I stay in hotels around 50 nights a year, and this one stands out: the room was spacious and spotless, and the staff clearly took pride in their work. I almost never leave hotel reviews, but this stay went well beyond what I expected. I’ll be back on my next trip.
