Clarion Pointe

The kitchen shutting at 9am on Sunday felt rather early to me. Still, the rate was great, so I'll smile and have breakfast somewhere else. The room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. It was clear the rooms had been renovated. The front desk and housekeeping team were extremely friendly and gave great service. I'd definitely recommend this place for an overnight stay and plan to come back.

I had to cancel my card and report the extra charges as fraud. I'd be careful about using a credit card to hold a room here. I reserved one because we were flying in during bad weather, but got a ride instead and never used it. They were only supposed to charge one night, yet several charges showed up on my card. I reached out, and the manager called back saying he'd reverse them. It looked like he had, but a few days later more charges appeared and went through. I called him twice and got no response. That's exactly the kind of shady, dishonest thing that makes me hate using my card to hold a room. Very disappointed in this hotel.

The bathroom was very small, which is my only complaint. We stayed about a week without any problems. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was great, and the price was very affordable. We'll stay here again when we're back in the area.

The breakfast was okay, and the stay was affordable. Our car was also not broken into, which was a relief. But the room wasn't clean: there was medication, wrappers, hair, and a cigarette butt on the floor, and the towels still had dirt stuck to them. The shower had bar soap but nowhere to set it except the floor.
