I was charged $200 after checkout for replacing one tile in each of two rooms. We spent one night in the first room and five in the second, but the hotel claimed the same single-tile damage in both. Nobody did a walkthrough with us, gave us notice, or showed any documentation before charging my card. I have serious questions about how they decide these damage claims. Be very careful if you stay. Photograph the room at check-in and checkout, and bring your own black light if you have pets.

I came for the red velvet waffles, but the mix was nasty and clearly not mixed right, and the cooker overdid them. That ruined my New Year. Worse, I could barely breathe all night and into the morning. My allergies started flaring within ten minutes of being in the room, and afterward I had scabs around my eyes and nose. I wouldn't have known there'd been a dog or cat in the room before I stayed, but I'm guessing animals are allowed there. The ice had little balls of what I think was dry grass in it. There was rust on the shower rail and paint peeling at the bottom of the tub. The maid knocked two hours before checkout while I was struggling to breathe after barely sleeping. I'll never stay here again and wouldn't recommend it.

Cassidy was a heaven-sent angel when my family needed help. My father is on hospice, and on Monday the 15th I got word he was declining fast. I packed and drove from Chicago toward Shreveport, but one car problem after another meant I couldn't make my reservation as planned. Cassidy went above and beyond to move it and help us. She deserves a raise, promotion, or Hilton stock. The one low point was asking at 9 PM to use the conference room for an hour to teach an online class. I had family in my room and didn't want to bother anyone in the breakfast area. I only needed a table, chair, and light, but Cassidy's supervisor said no unless I paid the full price. We've stayed here for about two years for work and family visits. The place is always clean, breakfast is great, and every employee's customer service has made it special. Ms. Sharon's warm, welcoming smile is always lovely to see. Apart from the conference-room issue, the staff are amazing, kind, and hospitable.

There are several food options nearby, and the location was clean and easy to find. The staff were really friendly and gave me two bottles of water when I arrived. They also had more bottles set out at breakfast, which I appreciated. Plenty of hotels are stingy with water.
