The rooms were comfortable and clean, with enough space to unwind, and the shared areas felt especially welcoming. We had a delicious breakfast each morning. My wife and I came for a long winter weekend and had a wonderful time, with Okemo, Stratton, and other ski areas a short drive away. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. We’d happily return and highly recommend the inn.

We had a great time here and would stay again if we get the chance. It’s about 25 minutes from Okemo Mtn, and dinner at the nearby Rustic Rooster was delicious. Elizabeth and Richard took wonderful care of us. The place is charming, clean, and super cute, and breakfast was fantastic. Elizabeth even made sure my girlfriend, who is gluten free, was accommodated.

The breakfasts were delicious, and the room was spacious and very clean. The hosts were gracious and accommodating, and kept in touch with us before we arrived. Buckmaster Inn has a cozy, charming feel, almost like something from a Hallmark movie. I can’t say enough good things about it. Definitely book a stay!

It’s hard to leave this place. Elizabeth and Richard have made the inn feel like a comfortable home away from home, and their warmth is what gives the stay its special glow. We slept well, then had a full homemade breakfast by a warmly lit fireplace, with good food and friendly conversation. The restored country inn is beautifully kept, full of eye-catching design and rustic charm. There were lights everywhere, which felt especially fitting just after Christmas and New Year’s. It was such a cozy, welcoming place to rest and relax. One of my best New Year’s ever. Thank you!

The location worked really well, right between Ludlow and Rutland, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Elizabeth and Rich were amazing hosts, and the Buckmaster was a cozy, accommodating place to stay. Each morning we had a delicious homemade breakfast. We’ll definitely be back.
