We’ve stayed here a few times and enjoyed it. The condo was comfortable, nicely kept, and had the basics we needed, including towels, beach chairs, and dishes. There’s a heated pool and the beach is easy to reach. The biggest drawback is traffic, with the island getting busier and the property so close to the traffic light. I’d still recommend it. Getting to the beach is simple, but Midnight Cove II doesn’t have a dedicated area or lounge chairs like the Gulf-side condo places do. It’s also not part of Midnight Cove. Office staff said the properties were, or had been, owned by the same family, but split because they don’t get along.

The condo itself was just right for our family of four: clean, modern, and more than enough for us. We liked the pool, the beach is directly across the road, and everything we needed was a short ride away. We had a rental car, though free transportation was available. The supplies were odd, too: only the bag in the trash bin, one toilet paper roll, and one paper towel roll. A quick Publix run fixed that, but it was still inconvenient. The reason for our four stars is the lack of staff response. During our seven days, we saw construction workers but no MidNight Cove ii staff. A note on the office door said to call the number below, so we called twice, an hour and a half apart, and left a voicemail. It went straight to voicemail both times. We then tried the main number three times over two hours and left another message. While searching for another number, we noticed there was a key box code for after-hours arrivals, even though it wasn’t after hours. Fortunately, our keys were inside. Nobody called us back during the week, so we didn’t bother contacting them if we needed anything.

We had a great January stay with the family and would happily come back. From the bay-view condo, we saw dolphins swimming around almost every morning, and you can fish from the docks near the very nice pool. The Florida landscaping is gorgeous, and I loved watching the lizards wander around. Parking was easy once we got onto the property. The condos are beautiful, and the beach, restaurants, and water activities are all within walking distance. The bridge can get busy on the way in, so leave a little early if needed.

We loved the first-floor setup at 611F. It made getting from the parking lot to the outdoor amenities easy. The staff at Midnight Cove 2 were helpful and professional, and the internet had a good selection of apps, movies, and news. The kitchen and laundry were organized and supplied with what we needed to cook. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet, so we slept really well. The heated pool was well maintained, and those higher chaise lounges were appreciated. There’s plenty to do on Siesta Key, from biking, kayaking, and beach walks to staying in with Scrabble or a book on a rainy day. I brought my bike but didn’t ride on the island because of the debris. I did ride the fabulous Legacy Trail in Sarasota-Venice. We highly recommend 611F and will be back!

This used to be a good place to stay, but now it’s run-down, dirty, and filthy. There were no more trash bags after the first two days, and no extra toilet paper, so bring your own. Half the electrical outlets don’t work, and the furniture and doors are scratched and damaged. The bathrooms are outdated and in terrible shape. The kitchen and other areas weren’t cleaned properly, with dirt visible throughout the unit. Only one pool was open, and tree debris was floating in it. The driveway was dirty from the landscaping company’s mess, which got dirt on our car.
