We’ve stayed here for six years because it’s a smaller complex, the pool and beach never feel crowded, and every condo we’ve rented has been nice. The rates had always been affordable, too. But we paid $3,800 for two weeks this year, and the same condo for the same weeks next year is $5,700. Unfortunately, we’ll have to find somewhere else.

The grounds are small and well kept, with the pool and tennis courts just a short walk away. We also loved how close everything is: shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and a deli are across Midnight Pass Road, and the Stickney Point bridge is the quickest way on and off the island. Crescent beach was beautiful, with no birds or seaweed when we were there. And from the balcony, every condo has a direct beach view, so you can watch people walking and swimming over morning coffee. The beach is only seconds away, closer than anywhere else we saw on Siesta Key. It was our first stay at SB, and we thought it was a great place.

We’ve stayed here several times and always liked the quality and how easy it is to get to the beach. This visit, noise from a restaurant across the street changed that. There was loud music and orchestra noise, and we needed earplugs to sleep. Such a shame.

We’ve been returning to the Breakers since 1990, and it’s been renovated and upgraded regularly. The condos are always nice, and the location on the Key is hard to beat: turn left, then right after the Stickney Point Bridge. Every unit looks out over the Gulf’s pretty white sand beach. It’s gated and password protected, and works well for families or retired folks. The office and maintenance staff are fantastic and always ready to help.

From the lovely views and heated pool to the comfortable chairs on that gorgeous beach, we had a great stay. It’s convenient for getting on and off the Key, and the long walk along the beach to breakfast in the village is worth it. I’d highly recommend it for families.
