Siesta Palms By the Beach

The kitchen had everything I needed, and the whole place was spacious with plenty of towels. Check-in was easy, too. The pool and hot tub were close by, and it felt like we had the property to ourselves. The beach was just as convenient, with lovely clean sand. We had an incredible stay and I highly recommend it.

The property was clean and everything worked well. We had all we needed, including plenty of towels, beach chairs and a wagon, and the beach access was closer than it looked on the map. A storm knocked out the power one night. When I contacted the property manager the next morning, she already knew and was there first thing to make sure service was restored. They handled the situation as well as anyone could.

The sunsets were fantastic, and we took the free trolley into downtown Siesta Key to see the nightly Sunset salute and flag lowering. The water was wonderful for swimming, and the hot tub at the hotel was a nice extra. We were too breezy to snorkel at Point of Rocks, where we saw sharks on our last visit, so maybe that was a bonus. The sand was great for walking along the shore. It's a cute spot within walking distance of the beach and good restaurants. Miguel's was amazing, and Captain Curts and Daiquiri Deck were fun bars. We don't lounge on the beach, so we didn't use the chairs, but we enjoyed our walks.

For our family of five, the one-bedroom apartment worked well, with two queen beds and a sofa bed that unfolded. The kitchen had what we needed for meals, and there were TVs with YouTube TV and Roku. The room and bathroom were spotless and fresh-smelling, with lots of beach towels. They also had chairs, an umbrella and a wagon, which made beach trips simple. Restaurants, convenience stores and the beach were all a short walk away. It was very affordable compared with other rentals nearby. We had a great couple of nights at Siesta Palms by the Beach and would happily stay again.
