The Inn On Siesta Key

We spent a weekend here for a little baby moon and loved our stay in the lookout room. It was beautiful and really clean. Paige was a pleasure to talk with, and she and the other people on the property made us feel so welcome. The water is just across the road, a short walk away. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good place to stay.

There was a small fireplace and private outdoor seating area, which we really liked. Inside, our room had a separate bedroom with a comfortable king bed, plus a kitchen area equipped for light meals. Fresh towels were available whenever we asked, and everyone was very nice and helpful.

The beach is wide and long, great for watching gulls and building sandcastles. We saw some elaborate ones, including a mermaid. The water was gentle, with dolphins appearing now and then. At sunset, check out Sunset Point/Patriots Pier. A vet holds a moving beach ceremony there, lowering the flag and honoring those who served, with taps and the national anthem. The sunset was lovely too. We enjoyed the Cottage, especially the Thai chili grouper and live guitar music on the back patio. Paige and her staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They answered texts even after 5p and before 9a. The inn is close to the beach, and restaurants and a grocery store are a 10-min walk away. Our Uber ride to SRQ took 30 min and cost $35 before tip, and there was no wait at TSA security. A delightful spot for a long weekend.

We didn't rent a car, so being able to walk across the street to two public beach access points and reach the Ocean Blvd. shops, restaurants, and market in 8-10 minutes was a big plus. We also really enjoyed the beach chairs, umbrellas, games, and heated pool among the many amenities available. Paige and Gabe were kind, helpful, and accommodating, and the other people there were welcoming too. For our first trip together as a couple, The Haven Room was a great place to stay. It was clean, roomy, comfortable, nicely decorated inside and out, and wonderfully cold when we were sunburnt. I only have good things to say about this place and would recommend it to anyone staying around Siesta Key. Thanks to Paige, Gabe, and everyone who helped make the trip so special. We hope we can come back.
