The Ringling Beach House

The beach access is right across the street, which was why I picked this place. Management rents out a wagon with two comfortable chairs and a big umbrella for $20, and I thought it was worth it. It's also a short walk to the bars and restaurants along Siesta Key, and the free open-air trolley stop is nearby. We stayed in the cute, comfortable Stallion apartment, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The full kitchen had a microwave, stove, dishwasher, full-sized fridge, and plenty of utensils and dishes for cooking or handling leftovers. We barely heard our fun neighbors, except when they were walking around. The AC was nice and cold, a great relief after a day in the sun. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will come back next time we're in Siesta Key.

Getting into town was easy, and everything was an 8-10 minute walk away. The beach was a very short walk too, to a great stretch of sand. There were plenty of beach chairs, a cart, and toys to take along. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The owners responded quickly whenever we needed anything, and we look forward to returning. Ringling Beach House Villa worked really well for two families over Christmas. The house had lots of updates and a great layout, with plenty of room for everyone to relax or have some quiet time. Beds were comfortable and there were lots of TVs. The kitchen was remarkably well stocked, with everything we needed and more. We also loved hanging out outside and by the pool.

The pool area was nice and clean, and the AC and all the equipment worked well. The shower got hot and had plenty of pressure. I liked the location, and it was mostly quiet, though we could hear children running upstairs. We had a two-bedroom place, which was fine for two people, and at first glance it seemed very clean. Then we found cooked food on the microwave plate, crushed chips in the bathroom, Cheetos and hair behind a bedroom dresser, and a condom wrapper. Everything else seemed clean. We were given just two towels for the whole week, and when I emailed to ask for a couple more, no one messaged back. There was no manager on site. Still, honestly, we'd come again.

Susan kept checking that we had everything we needed, and made our stay wonderful. Our room was perfect, with a great private patio next to the pool. We'll stay again if we return to Siesta Key!
