We took our dogs for a weekend in this small mountain town and had a great time. The rooms were clean and cute, with a larger fridge than expected, and we enjoyed the s’mores. Check-in is self-serve, with no key card to keep track of, which made things easy. If you need help, call the number they provide and Tracy will answer. She was kind and helpful. The $25-per-pet fee covered the whole stay and felt very reasonable. Definitely worth booking.

After skiing and exploring, the cedar hot tub was a real treat, and we loved the beautiful views. Altus Lodge has thoughtful little touches, especially the robes and s’mores kit, that made our room feel extra special. The bed was wonderful and the room was very comfortable. It’s right in downtown Silverton, close to everything on foot, but still quiet at night. The lodge is cute and cozy, decorated with care without feeling overdone. You can tell the owners and staff put thought into guests’ experience. We loved staying here and can’t wait to come back. I’d recommend Altus Lodge to anyone visiting Silverton.

Being right downtown Silverton, next to a grocery store, made it easy to get around and explore. The check-in was simple, so arriving felt stress-free. Our room was clean, updated, and really cute, and the whole lodge seemed well cared for. We had a comfortable, enjoyable stay and would happily return. Highly recommend Altus Lodge when visiting Silverton.

A rare find around here. It was easy to get to, and the room was spotless, with plenty of towels and modern fixtures. Communication was clear and easy to follow. I’d definitely stay again.

The hot tub is reason enough to book. Our spacious king suite had very comfortable beds and a shower with plenty of hot water. The grocery store is just across the street, and it took us about 17 minutes to reach the base of the resort. Nothing negative to report. I’d book here again and again.
