Hampton Inn Simpsonville

I've stayed here on business trips for the last five years. The workers are polite and very nice, and they treat customers like family. There's an older gentleman at breakfast in the morning who's a pleasure to chat with, and another person helped receive and keep a delivery package for me.

Paul was the sweetest and upgraded us to a suite when our room key didn't work. My husband and I were in town for work from 9/29 to 10/2, and the stay was wonderful. The rooms get sooo cold, which we absolutely love, and the shower water is hot. I'm now obsessed with their shampoo and conditioner. We'll definitely be back. Thank you all so much.🤍

I paid 150 a night for a place that felt like it should cost 80. It comes across as a two-star hotel pretending to be three-star. The rooms aren't cleaned well and smell horrible, the AC sounds like a tank, and the pool is just a hole in the ground. The juice machine at breakfast doesn't work, and I keep finding someone else's hair and pubes.

The stay was uncomfortable from start to finish, and I wouldn't recommend this location. For the price and the Hilton name, I expected much better. The lobby smelled unpleasant as soon as I walked in, and the place felt muggy and poorly maintained. The front desk woman had a rude, unwelcoming manner at check-in. The hallways were hot, and my room was too. I had to turn the AC all the way down to get relief. The window above the AC was dirty, the remote felt gross, and the chair was stained, which made the room seem unclean. In the bathroom, the shower curtain kept sliding down, sending water onto the floor. The bottom of the bathroom door was peeling, so this seems to have been an ongoing problem that wasn't properly fixed.
