The room had plenty of space and was clean and comfortable, with an iron, hair dryer, and fridge. Free laundry is a nice bonus, especially if you’re staying a while. Breakfast had lots to choose from and I enjoyed it each morning. The staff were kind everywhere I went, including the breakfast area, where they even helped clear plates and trash. At check-in, the receptionist was especially welcoming and gave me free cookies. Everyone stayed friendly through checkout, so I had a really great stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Simpsonville and would come back.

Marcos made me feel welcome from the minute I arrived, with a warm smile and genuine kindness. He kept that friendly attitude throughout my stay and clearly cared about making guests feel looked after. He answered my questions, helped with accommodations, and checked in to see how things were going. He handled it all professionally and seemed happy to go the extra mile. That kind of authentic hospitality is rare these days. Kudos to Marcos!

Justin, the Manager, was out there working alongside the team, cleaning out the pool room and pool area and fixing things himself. I honestly thought he was in maintenance because he was getting his hands dirty. That hands-on leadership and attention made a big impression on us. The staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating, and the hotel was clean throughout, from the common spaces to our room. Our room had modern updates that made it comfortable and functional after a long day. We had a memorable stay, and I’m already planning to return to South Carolina and stay here again.

It’s not fancy, but it’s a really nice place to stay. Everyone on staff was welcoming and kind. The breakfast selection is pretty good, and there are sometimes warm cookies at the front desk.

We come up for South Carolina women basketball games and always stay at this Holiday Inn. It’s close to the Gamecocks arena, restaurants, and shopping, and the rooms are consistently clean and comfortable. The staff always greet us with a smile and make it a wonderful stay. Thanks to everyone there.
