I've stayed here many times and I'm always impressed by the beautiful historic renovation. We also had a great dinner at The Woodbury Steakhouse. The business meeting rooms were professional and worked perfectly for our needs. A top-tier stay in Sioux City.

The building is beautiful, and the rooms are nice. There's lots to do, with a gym, pool, bowling alley, and more, but the service falls short of what I'd expect as a lifetime status member with Marriott. Small problems kept adding up and causing inconvenience. I found coffee pods in the room but no coffee maker. The next morning, at 4:00 am, I was already in the shower before noticing there was no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. The restaurant often had only a lunch menu when I tried to get dinner. When they did serve dinner, it was quite good, but as a frequent traveler I wanted a real meal. Housekeeping came only now and then, so I often had to call or go downstairs for fresh towels or coffee. One day, after the room had been serviced, someone asked if I needed anything. I asked for coffee pods for the morning, but was told they were out. I explained that I needed coffee for work at 4:00 in the morning and the restaurant wouldn't be open. She said she'd talk to someone, but I never got coffee. There were a few other issues like that. It might be fine for a day or two, and families could enjoy the pool and bowling alley. For business travel, though, I wouldn't recommend it. My colleagues had similar experiences. It's a shame, since with a project they're losing out on about 8-13 rooms for the next 6-12 months.

I travel to Sioux City often and always enjoy staying at the warrior. The art deco design inside and out is beautiful, and I've never been disappointed. The rooms are quiet, with cool bathrooms that have TVs in the mirrors and fancy bidet toilets with heated seats and self-cleaning features. The bedding, towels, and toiletries are all top quality. Fridges are tucked in the closet or cupboard. Woodbury's, the lobby restaurant, is amazing. The steak is delicious, the beer and wine selection is on point, and the service is outstanding. There's also a bar on the top level and bowling in the basement. Parking is free in the outdoor lot behind the hotel.

It's a lovely, elegant place, and I'd definitely go again. The hotel is spread out, though, so staff aren't always nearby when you need them. Service bells at the front desk, especially at the restaurant, might help. The basement bowling alley looked like a great spot to hang out, drink beer, and eat pizza or whatever you fancy. We just didn't have time to try everything.

The bathroom was phenomenal, and that toilet was fantastic. A TV in the mirror? Awesome. The bed was comfortable and the service great. We would have liked to soak in the hot tub, but it was full of kids. Maybe they could offer adults some time later in the evening. I also wish there had been a coffee maker in the room. When we asked, they said they were waiting for new ones to be delivered. It wouldn't have bothered me so much if the room hadn't already had all the coffee supplies. If there's no machine, please take the coffee out. There are several nearby restaurants for breakfast. It was a great stay overall.
