The pool was a lovely spot to relax after being out, and it was well cared for. We also appreciated how quiet and restful the lodge felt despite being near everything. The whole property was spotless, and the staff were warm and always ready to help us feel comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would come back.

The room was comfortable and clean, and having a fireplace was a nice touch. We could walk to lots of good shops, restaurants, and coffee places, with Peninsula State Park only about a 10-minute drive away. Friendly staff welcomed us at the start and saw us off at the end. Great customer service.

I’ve been coming back every year for more than ten years. They keep improving things, and this year the new countertops are nice, Roman! Housekeeping does a great job, the staff are great, and the rooms are always clean and fabulous.

The room was amazing, and the pool and hot tub were so clean. We stayed for two nights and hated having to leave. We’ll definitely come back soon and stay longer. Thanks for such a wonderful time!

Andrea gave us really useful tips on where to go and eat, and found us Birchwood’s last room for Saturday and Sunday after we’d spent Friday night at another hotel south of the peninsula. The room was thoughtfully laid out and the bed was great. We were there for Columbus Day Weekend in Door County, and next time we won’t have to wonder where to stay. A sure winner.
