We paid $200 a night and felt it was a decent value. The hotel is run by Holland America Cruise Line, and everything was very nice. Locals told us the restaurant is where they go for an affordable dinner, compared with the tourist-priced places on the main drag. Our meal was quite good and the service was great. The thing we didn't like was the WiFi setup. It only works in the lobby, cafe, and restaurants, not in the rooms. I don't know why they do that, but for business I'd rather take a Zoom call privately in my room than have to sit in the lobby.

The bed was comfortable, and the staff were okay, but the room was small and had no air conditioning. There was only a little fan in the closet, and it was 76 degrees outside while we were there. WiFi was unreliable and only available in the lobby. The buffet in the dining room wasn't food we liked. No free coffee in the lobby, either, and no elevator.

A lovely little hotel for a great room price. The staff were friendly and quick to help, the rooms were nice, and it stayed quiet at night. Everything in Skagway is just a short walk away. We had a great stay!

The service felt warm and down to earth, and the location works perfectly for whatever brings you to town. The rooms and property were clean, and we really liked staying here. The one catch was that the beds felt a bit small. Since it was just the two of us, we chose separate beds instead of sharing. The WiFi could use improvement. It's available in the lobby, but the connection wasn't strong, and there's none in the rooms. That was tough because cell service in Skagway is a little rough for most providers.

We've been here for a couple of our five nights so far, with two rooms for four people, and no complaints. The location is extremely convenient: trails, restaurants, a grocery store, the train depot, and the incoming ports are all within a couple of blocks. Everyone has been helpful, from the front desk and housekeeping to the shuttle driver.
