Skokie Banquet & Conference Center

At the June 2, 24 event in salon A at 7pm, the setup was very good and the food tasted great. My main concern was the open bar being closed while food was served. The two young guys assigned to the room, wearing black shirts, seemed to think nobody could see them making drinks for themselves whenever the people in blue and white shirts, probably managers, turned away. They had so many in a short time that they were dropping things during cleanup. The managers didn't seem to realize the guys were getting drunk on company time and getting paid, though the attendees noticed.

Toni in the office was a huge help when I had a banquet there last night. The manager Mike and the bartender were fabulous, and the room looked beautiful. The food was good too, and everyone had a great time. They did a great job. I'd definitely use them for my next event.

I went to a party at Bar Louie's. The buffet had three different entrees, but the portions felt a bit skimpy for buffet style, and the food was just okay. Drinks cost a bit much too. I don't need to come back.

The facilities were nicely maintained, and there was plenty of space for a meeting.
