Comfort Inn & Suites Slidell - New Orleans Area

The room was super clean, the beds comfy, and it was quiet in a nice location with tons of places to eat nearby. I loved the huge bathroom sink and counter, too. Richard at the front desk was fantastic, so nice and fun to talk to. 10/10, I’d stay again.

Remy went above and beyond when the room refrigerator wasn’t working properly and didn’t have a freezer section. They helped us store our freezer packs and cooler food in the hotel’s facilities, which we really appreciated. The room was wonderful, breakfast was very good, and the staff were great. One thing for anyone needing ADA facilities: although our room was classed as a mobility room, the shower wasn’t designed for wheelchair use. We had a very positive experience overall and would recommend the hotel, especially its staff.

Sunny was a gem on the night shift. She worked quickly and diligently to arrange multiple rooms for my family, so we could rest, know the breakfast hours, and get back on the road the next morning. She was so joyful and helpful that I don’t think I could be as cheery after my full eight hours of sleep. I hope the hotel appreciates her and treats her well. We drove into town late one night and found the hotel conveniently located off the highway, close to restaurants. The area felt safe, and the front desk service was spectacular.

After nearly 23 hours of driving across the country from Portland, Oregon, my fiancé and I were exhausted. We’ve stayed at quite a few hotels on the way, and this Comfort Inn stood out because of Sunny at the front desk. She greeted us with a warm smile and such kind energy that we felt at home right away. As a gay couple, it can be hard to find that kind of open-hearted welcome on the road, so her genuine care meant a lot. It’s rare to meet someone who takes pride in helping guests feel seen, comfortable, and accepted. Sunny deserves recognition for her compassion and customer service. She made a simple hotel stay memorable.
