Courtyard Nashville Smyrna

The Bistro turned out to be a great choice. With a bad snowstorm shutting down DoorDash, I tried the breakfast bowl, made fresh with quality ingredients, and the flavor was right on point. They had a good variety of delicious options, ordering was quick and easy, and they got it right the first time. Staff checked on me throughout and made sure everything was perfect. The service was amazing. I recently stayed at the Courtyard in Smyrna, TN. As always, the room was pleasant, clean, and quiet. 10/10, one of the best places to stay in Smyrna. They take care of you like family.

The building is newer, but the design is terrible. Most parking spaces are far from an entrance, and the rooms aren’t any more soundproof than in an old building. For all the money, there are fewer services than somewhere half the price. There’s no breakfast, and some things are out of stock. They vacuum early in the morning and into the evening. It seems they run out of time because they try to clean every room every day. Leave the do-not-disturb sign up and cleaning leaves a passive-aggressive note on the door. Take the note down and they put it back. I’ve stayed here a couple of times. Two stars is the best I can give.

We lost power during the ice storm, so being able to stay somewhere comfortable was a huge relief. The rooms were clean, and the staff stayed friendly, patient, and hardworking despite being short-staffed and dealing with the same stressful circumstances. It was clear they put guests first. Well done, Courtyard Smyrna.

The night bar guy is awesome, and there are plenty of options nearby. The hotel’s convenient as a place to stay, but reception needs to improve: our keys didn’t work three times, and the gym is in a bad location.
