Chanceford Hall Bed & Breakfast

Shae and Matt were wonderful hosts and clearly attentive to every detail. We had an incredible Mother's Day weekend at Chanceford Hall, a majestic property with plenty of history and charm. We'd highly recommend a visit or a vacation here. ♥️

Shae even arranged and catered a brunch the day after the wedding for guests who were still in town, with a delicious three-course meal and the space rearranged to fit everyone. We had reserved several rooms for family and guests attending my daughter's wedding last fall. Chanceford Hall was perfectly located for the wedding in Snow Hill, and the hosts were accommodating, pleasant, and professional throughout. The rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was delicious, restaurant-quality food. It's also about a 20-minute drive to Assateauge National Seashore Beach and Berlin, and 30 minutes to Chincoteague. I highly recommend it for a getaway.

We had a charming time, and the hosts' pride in Chanceford Hall's 260+ years of hospitality really comes through. Shae brings wit and grace to everything, along with delicious food like lemon and blueberry crepes, shrimp and grits, and homemade yogurt with local honey. After a First Friday in Snow Hill, breakfast here is a real treat, and the Von Marsh's are impeccable hosts. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The riverfront park and town center are an easy walk away, and there's a game room for wintry days plus an outdoor TV and pool table for game nights.

Shae was an incredible hostess, making sure all our needs were taken care of and making us feel so welcome. Her breakfasts were beyond amazing, and she's a phenomenal cook. We'll definitely stay at Chanceford again. Thanks, Shae, for such outstanding hospitality!
