The deck overlooking the village is amazing, and I found the bed and pillows really comfy. The tech is up to date, there's a nice hot tub, and the ski lockers are handy for 🎿 skis or snowboard gear. The cleaners don't mess anything up, and they welcomed us with a box of chocolates. Room 2202 and some others have a queen bed with a twin bunk above it. I could keep going about how awesome this lodge is, but it would take too long. Five stars for sure.

The apartment itself was the highlight: lovely, spacious for us and our two kids, and really well decorated. We stayed in 2207 and had great facilities right at the doorstep, plus a very helpful concierge. It opens onto the Snowmass Base Village center, about 10 seconds from the gondola to the Snowmass Mall, with lots of good food options nearby. Parking is private but a bit hard to find, though that's a small drawback next to all the positives.

No Wi-Fi, service, or TVs, and there’s no air conditioning either. Sure, it’s Yellowstone, but it still wasn’t close enough to anything worth seeing. Thanks, but I’m moving on.
