Mountaintop Condos

For a reasonable price, the location is great: you can walk right onto your run, and the village is almost next door. Our unit had several damaged or missing items. Some might reasonably escape housekeeping, but others were surprising. The bedroom door with the ensuite bathroom is hanging off its hinges, though it might be an easy fix if it isn’t hollow-core. The door also has cosmetic damage. Neither hair dryer worked, so we were glad we brought our own. In the hallway alcove closet, part of the built-in ski rack is broken out and another section is cracked and looks close to giving way. It didn’t affect us, but I’m mentioning it so you can decide whether to repair it. There’s a large cabinet panel missing in front of the kitchen sink, which is odd. The ensuite bathroom heater has been pulled away from the wall, and a panel is missing, leaving wiring exposed. That’s the one damaged or missing item that seems potentially dangerous.

The views of the mountain from the windows and porch are stunning. This was a great ski retreat for two, in a fantastic location, with a comfortable bed and a new sleeper sofa. We also appreciated the free van pickup from The Village bus stop after night skiing at Silver Creek. The unit is small and a bit dated, but everything worked, it was clean and had the basics, and there was enough space for what we needed. The smaller furniture helps it feel more open. The kitchen had dishes, cups, and silverware for four, along with the expected cooking utensils and pans. The Internet kept dropping out. The bedroom backs onto the hallway over the new shop, so it can get noisy, and light comes around the edges of the blackout curtains and blinds. Bring earplugs and a sleep mask. We’d love to stay in this unit again.

The condo was clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of appliances. It was close to several green trails and just a short walk from the bunny hill, which worked well since we had two new riders.

The view and location were amazing, and the price was great too. The condo was clean and had everything we could need, plus more. The host answered my questions quickly and was really helpful. We’ll definitely be back!
