Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Snyder

Wi-Fi wasn't available during my stay, even though it was advertised. I also ran into a payment problem at checkout. I booked on 01/24/2026 with PayPal Pay Later, set up as four installments of $18.98 at a discounted rate. An employee at the front desk found the payment when I checked in, but at checkout Angela said they couldn't find it and made me pay again another way, at the full, higher rate. Now I'm worried I may be charged twice, through PayPal Pay Later and my PayPal Mastercard, and I've had to spend extra time monitoring it and may need to dispute a charge. I hope management reviews this and makes payment handling more consistent. I'd appreciate a proper resolution.

My sister and I spent four nights here during Winter Storm Fern while we were in Snyder caring for our elderly parents. Angie, Delilah, Elizabeth, Joan and Sher were all super friendly, helpful, caring, and supportive. The hotel was very clean, though it could use a refresh by Marriott.

For $90 a night, this was garbage. We had no hot water for two days, the elevators stopped working, and the ice machines on the upper floors were out of order. Our room was bare, with an uncomfortable hard bed, no extra linens, and a bed that wasn't the size we'd reserved. Travelocity contacted the hotel about a refund and was told it was non-refundable. When I called directly, someone mumbled something incoherent and told me to call another day. Save your money and get a tent.

The woman at the front desk who checked us in was the star of the place. She was an older African American woman, incredibly nice, and I wish I'd gotten her name. The rest was a mess. None of the keys worked for our room, and when we came back later they still weren't working. She apologized and was stressed, then got the new GM manager involved, who didn't seem to know what to do and mostly leaned on the counter. We asked to move to a room where the keys worked, and eventually got one, but one of those keys failed too. The AC vent was full of food and other crap, like kids or someone had thrown it in there. At breakfast, the juice machine was broken, so there was no juice, and the only cereal options plus two English muffins were all there was. We won't stay here again, but that front desk woman should be running the place as GM manager.
