You can spend the day riding both gondolas as often as you like, and I thought the admission was worth it. We were excited to find a way to ride without skiing. The views of the area and skiers are beautiful, and there are places to eat, drink, and shop.

The views of the trails and canyons are spectacular. The ride up to the lodge is great, and there’s a patio where you can look out at the skiers. Everything was super clean and comfortable.

A couple of nice hikes start at the top, and Mid-Mountain was our favorite. In summer, the gondola is free with an Epic Pass for the upcoming ski season; otherwise, it costs about $40 per person. In winter, it’s one of the main lifts from the Canyons base area to the skiing Park City has to offer.

The gondolas were clean, modern, and roomy, and the helpers at both ends were great with boarding, getting off, and information. We got a daylong lift pass at the end of summer, and the whole experience was seamless. It took us toward the summit trails of the Wasatch near our Park City, Hilton lodge, with incredible views. There are two locations, one near us and another in downtown PC.

The ride to Red Pine Lodge took about eight minutes and had lovely scenery. It’s a great spot for people who like skiing. At the top, Red Pine Lodge has lots of food choices. It was busy for the holidays and a bit expensive, though the food tasted good. We spent around 2-3 hours and really enjoyed it. We went with my wife and daughter on 31st December, and the ticket line took 25-30 minutes. Gondola tickets without skiing were around $75 per person because of the holiday season. Kids 4 and under didn’t need a ticket.
