Homewood Suites by Hilton Cleveland-Solon

Veronica was welcoming and incredibly attentive when I arrived, and the service from everyone I met was a big part of the stay. India and Stacey both went above and beyond to help make things comfortable. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. The toiletries were high quality, and the shared areas were quiet and well maintained. The fitness center was clean and well equipped, and breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and had plenty of variety.

Veronica at the front desk was warm and welcoming, and Trenise the General Manager made sure things ran smoothly. India from Sales was a huge help, while Stacy from Housekeeping keeps the place looking great. The whole property was spotless, with cleanliness throughout that really stood out. Customer service was exceptional from beginning to end.

A local pointed me to this place after a last-minute cancellation of my business trip left me stuck in Cleveland for a few days. I was bummed about work, but Veronica found me the best available room and made everything smooth from check-in through check-out. The staff were warm, the common areas were regularly attended to, and the stay was pleasant and peaceful. I got the work I needed done without constantly calling the front desk. I was really grateful.

The price was low, and the woman at the front desk was very nice to us. That's the only positive we encountered. The hotel is very dirty, the room thermostat didn't work so I had to open the windows to cool it down, and the signs for the back elevators were confusing when they weren't needed. The fitness center machines and TV weren't working, and employees were loudly complaining about poor management. I'll stop there, you get the idea. HITLON management should close this hotel until construction remodeling is finished. In its current state, it's a two-star hotel.
