Birch Hill Suites South Bend

Ms Shawn is the sweetest woman I’ve ever met, so caring and understanding. Lenora made sure I was comfortable and didn’t leave, and she worked with me. They honestly made my day. It felt like I was talking to two angels. The atmosphere here is everything, and I’d highly recommend this place.

I’m grateful to the whole Birch Hill Suites crew for working hard to help residents have a great experience. Leona, Shawn, Walter, Tois, and the housekeepers and maintenance staff are all super and very helpful. I recommend this hotel to fellow travelers and friends who need housing in this area.

After driving 20 hours, I was treated like crap, and I’ll never stay with this chain or any related property again. I arrived around noon after speaking by phone with someone who said I could check in around 11 am. No one was working the front desk overnight, and when I arrived, nobody seemed to know about that conversation. They acted as if an early arrival was unheard of. When I finally got a room key, the room was poorly kept. It had a rusty refrigerator, the bathroom smelled of mildew, and there was nowhere to sit or set down my suitcases to unpack except the bed. What’s the point of a kitchen if there’s nowhere to sit and eat? I went right back to the desk and asked for a refund so I could find somewhere else to stay. They refused, saying there were no refunds, period.

Ms Leona is great. She gets things done, has a great attitude, and is very dedicated. I’ve been in room #120 since April and have seen this place come a long way with her help and potential. She’s a great GM. Don’t let her go, protect her at all costs. Big shout-out to Birch Hill Suites. Keep up the good work, Leona.
