Happy hour was a nice surprise when I came downstairs to get some work done. Shamona made the whole visit feel welcoming and fun. She was the best, and I’d recommend stopping by when she’s working.

Shamona was such a warm, friendly bartender during cocktail hour, and I’m looking forward to seeing her again during my weeklong stay. The service started off well at the front desk, too, and stayed attentive all the way through.

My drink came out quickly and tasted delicious. Shamona at the evening reception bar was sweet and professional, and she asked to see my ID, which made me feel even more youthful as a woman in my 30s 🤭.

The chicken in my salad seemed like the lowest quality you can buy, and it tasted worse than McDonald’s. The salad itself looked tired and smelled like dishwater, as if it had been kept well past its expiration. I can’t get over that smell, even though I can’t smell it right now as I write this. The presentation was the one thing they handled decently, but dressing it up visually didn’t make it good. I have no idea why this place gets such high reviews. The food was substandard in every other way. Disappointing.
