We rented the Fox cabin for the weekend and paid extra specifically for its hot tub, since my wife and I wanted to relax and my back has been bothering me. The tub runs for about 3 minutes before tripping the breaker. Management is remote, and although they kept saying they were working on it, the business is an out of state corporation. The only staff on site are the room cleaners. I tried contacting management, but the customer service was disappointing. This kind of business management might suit Denver, but not South Fork.

We had a great two night stay and enjoyed soaking in the hot tub while looking at the stars, with hardly any light pollution and no kids around. It started losing heat late at night, maybe because we left the cover off too long, and didn't seem strong enough for a 40 degree night. I also found mouse poop in the pan under the stove. That's not a major deal, I own a house too and these things happen.

We rented the Goat Cabin for a long weekend for a family wedding, and the price was very reasonable. Booking online about 9 months ahead and paying in two installments were both easy, with updates and reminders along the way. The place is clean, thanks Alexis and Michelle, and they allowed early check-in if it was available, thanks Christy. Someone checked whether we needed fresh towels, and the kitchen consumables and hot tub towels were well stocked. The service and hospitality from the ladies were wonderful. It's not a fancy place, so if you're after the Ritz, move on.

The cabin was a great little place to stay, in a good location. It was furnished with plenty of towels for everyone. Thank you.

The cabin is quiet even with the highway nearby, and the bed was comfortable. The hot tub was nice, and the furnishings were cute. Having a small oven was handy too. Getting in with a door code was fine, though it felt less personal than when people worked here, and one day I had to push the door forward to get the lock to catch. The screen door at the front of the Moose cabin was very hard to open and close. I mentioned it to the surly maintenance guy, who said he needed to order a replacement or parts, but nothing was done. The room had just two tiny baby forks, so bring your own. They'd said it would have a large, medium, and small frying pan, but there was only a small cast iron one. The cleaning ladies were friendly, at least. A great place overall, with a few minor glitches. Management, the Moose cabin screen door needs replacing!
