Old Harbor Inn

The harbor view from the rooms is great entertainment, and the rooms themselves are spacious with plenty of amenities like coffee makers and mini-fridges. Restaurants and shops are walkable, as is the beach, though you might prefer to drive depending on how much you’re carrying and what your group can manage. They also lend out beach chairs, umbrellas, and other items. We had a wonderful stay and would have booked again for next year if we knew our dates.

We had a wonderful three-day stay and will definitely return. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance and lovely harbor and river views. Dawn at the front desk was very accommodating and dealt with our questions or concerns right away. Our room was fantastic.

The hotel is nice and in a great spot, but we paid over 250 a night for a tiny room just for the water view. The bed was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on, and I’ve had back pain since leaving on 10/19. I usually wouldn’t complain, but relatives paid the same price and got a large suite with a couch and dinner table.

I don’t usually write a review when everything goes well, but we loved staying at this hotel and in South Haven. The view was awesome, and the front desk hostesses were especially polite and helpful. We stayed in two different rooms because at first we weren’t sure if we’d spend a second night in town. Both were clean and delightful, and the beds were fine. We enjoyed every bit of the stay.
