My stay finished on a good note. When I asked about the bill, the staff checked the transaction and walked me through every charge without hesitation. I appreciated how clearly they handled it.

The billing changes were explained clearly, and the service stayed solid throughout. I was there for a quick family trip and needed an extra bed. After a short conversation at the desk, they sorted the request out fast.

The place feels badly neglected. Paint is peeling in the room, the carpet in the hallway is VERY old, and the room smells terrible. The bathroom is just meh. Check-in took forever, and they tried to add another $40. UPDATE: We didn't check in early. We arrived hours after the stated check-in time, so I don't know why that came up in your response.

I woke up in August with bugs in my bed. The manager, Mr Findlay, emailed to say my money had been refunded that month, but I still haven't received it. Customer service has been horrible. This used to be a really nice hotel with an indoor pool, but that's not the case anymore. They misrepresent the rates, so book online.

The water pressure was weak and the Internet kept cutting out. Maybe being on the second floor had something to do with it, but the price is the same as for the first floor. Even so, there were lots of perks and it was a great stay. I'd come back.
