We spent two weeks here as a family, and it was really quiet, with no noisy neighbors. The front office ladies were kind and helpful, and they had free coffee in the mornings. Our room came with a microwave, and they provided a mini fridge when we asked. The AC blew cold air. I spent a lot of those days watching Snapped on Oxygen.

To be clear, we did appreciate the help, and I even offered to pay more. They still told us we had to leave, though I said I’d get paid Monday and could pay what we owed and even pay ahead. The earlier review is true. There are mice and roaches, the beds sag, the TVs are outdated, and there’s black mold in the walls with holes behind the old wallpaper. People break into rooms, but staff seem too afraid to do anything and tell tenants to call the police. Bedbugs were the one thing we didn’t find. Housekeeping didn’t clean, even while claiming the rooms were done. The morning front desk worker, Linda, was very rude. Richard and the woman working nights were the only decent ones. It’s okay, this place will eventually be shut down. Have a good night.

The pool is there, but it’s filthy and doesn’t work. The rooms are dirty too, with bad smells, broken doors, and what seemed to be black mold. Roaches come through the walls and outlets, and there are mice. Housekeeping sometimes wouldn’t plug the fridge back in after unplugging it, and they don’t speak English. Management is rude and ignores people’s concerns. You have to do everything before 9 p.m. There’s no working ice machine in the office, and rooms don’t have a microwave or fridge unless you stay over a week, sometimes not even then. They triple charge for rooms that are worth $30 at most. Awful experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

This was the worst experience. There were more than 25 mothballs all over my room, and I wasn’t warned about them. My baby had one in his mouth. When I complained, they said maybe the previous renters had left them, which makes no sense if rooms are meant to be cleaned between guests. I also found a baggie with a powdery substance pushed behind the headboard. The showers had big holes in the bottom of the tub, and there was a cop there every night. One renter even threw a fridge off the second floor. I’ll be calling the BBB because this place doesn’t feel safe. The service was awful from the start. From day two, I felt picked on by the owner because of the front desk worker’s daughter-in-law, who cleans rooms. After I mentioned having children, they put us on the top floor, but we had to move because of a customer living below us. We had to pack everything ourselves, move our fridge and microwave ourselves, and pay another $45 for the room they moved us to. The front desk worker’s daughter-in-law complained that we left the room dirty, which was completely untrue. I later learned she was pregnant, and she’d come in every day but didn’t clean well. She complained that she was pregnant and couldn’t do the job anymore, or that the motel vacuum wasn’t good and that was the best she could do. She made me change my own bed sheets, then her boss was rude to me. I argued with the owner because of her lies and showed him dust on the lampshade and the AC filter. I told him I felt bullied, and he made them clean my filters and more because they knew the room wasn’t being cleaned well. I passed by her room with its door open and saw the mess she was living in, after she’d been lying about me. The front desk worker had her two sons, four grandkids, and two daughters-in-law living there and doing whatever they wanted. When the breaker flipped, they got mad at me. The front desk worker’s son brought a key for the room next door, whose card lock didn’t work, and told me to leave the door open if I went out because it only worked with the key or I’d be locked out. I had to worry about a man who didn’t work there having a key to the room where my kids and I were meant to sleep. Then the boss called me angry and said it was a one-time thing and they wouldn’t rent to me again if it happened again. The owner’s daughter-in-law who cleans rooms had no teeth and looked very nasty, and I didn’t want to trust her to clean my room. They also had me change my own sheets.

The bed was rock hard and uncomfortable, and the sheets were dirty. There was no fridge or microwave, and the lamp didn’t work. I only found the pool clean. There was no Bible in the nightstand, and there were a lot of creeps around. Do not stay here, especially with kids.
