Right next to Lakeside Beach, and the room was cozy and very clean. The bed was really comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our staycation at Station house and would gladly stay again. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. The room could use better lighting, and the front office coffee machine should be faster. Also, those disposable cups in the lobby need to go. A simple cup that's easy to use would be nice, and it needs a lid.
Katrina and Bethany gave us welcome drinks and were so kind, which made us feel at home right away. The staff were prompt whenever we needed anything, and our room was spotless. Parking is included, and pets are allowed upon request, which is another plus. The location made our outings easy, with both Heavenly Ski Resort and the beach within comfortable walking distance. Free breakfast in the morning, then the hot tub and spa facilities and board games to wind down with, was a great combination. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.
The location made it easy to get to restaurants, the beach, and the main attractions, whether we wanted to relax or go exploring. For the price, all the perks and the atmosphere felt like a great value compared with many other places nearby. From the moment we checked in, the service was warm, friendly, and attentive. The complimentary drink and s’mores kit were a fun, thoughtful surprise. The rooms and property had a cozy, modern mountain feel, and everything was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. It was one of my best hotel stays in a long time, even though it was just a short weekend. Station House Inn exceeded my expectations, and I’d absolutely stay again.
SHI has become my favorite hotel in SLT, and it's always great to come back. The rooms are beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches like a snowboarding and ski rack. They're quiet and spotless, with a comfy bed and towels, plus free, fast Wi-Fi. The staff make the place feel welcoming just as much as the amenities do. Everyone I've interacted with has a real hospitality spirit. Special shout-out to Stacey and Katrina, and I hope I spelled your names right! 🙏🏻 There are movie nights with popcorn, coffee, tea, and hot cocoa in the lobby, and a free self-serve light breakfast in the morning. You get a welcome drink on arrival, and there’s a hot tub, board games, and indoor and outdoor fireplaces. I had great fireside chats with other guests.
The on-site restaurant, Toulouse, was incredibly yummy, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were great, too. One thing to know if you're a light sleeper, the heating unit is loud, so you'll need earplugs. That didn't bother us since we normally wear them anyway. Top-notch stay at Station House Inn, and we'll definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay!
