The location was excellent, close to downtown and Heavenly, and the house had everything for a comfortable stay. We loved this vacation home for our family spring break. It’s beautiful, with modern appliances, rustic furnishings, a well-planned layout, and clear pride of ownership throughout. My wife and kids loved it so much that I’ll have to spend more money to bring them back, which is totally worth it. Lots of amenities, and we’ll return. Thanks again.
The kitchen was stocked well, and Safeway and plenty of restaurants were close enough to walk to. I don't usually leave reviews, but this stay really stood out. The amenities and thoughtful little touches made it feel first class, and we had a great time. I'd definitely recommend it if you're visiting South Lake Tahoe. Have fun!
We came all the way from Pennsylvania for a family gathering at Lake Tahoe, and choosing Famous Cabin worked out perfectly. The house was clean, well cared for, and had everything we needed, with distinctive log details and other personal touches throughout. Our host welcomed us, showed us around, and took the time to answer all our questions. The experience went beyond what we expected, and our group is already talking about coming back this summer.
The owners have clearly put extra care into making this cabin comfortable. It's lovely, and we'd happily return for another getaway. The beach is just a two-minute walk away, while Heavenly ski resort is about a five-minute drive. We also found the restaurant and activity tips on the owner's website spot on. We had a wonderful time together here. The cabin was so neat and tastefully decorated, and it's one of the most beautiful places I've stayed. The beach is right across the street, so we loved having coffee there in the morning. For the price, it's truly amazing. I'd recommend it for a family vacation or a romantic getaway.
