Check-in was easy and contactless, and I got a text with my room details right at 4 pm, plus a heads-up about the ice in the parking lot. There really was a lot of ice. My friend is disabled and worried about the ramp, and we wished it had been salted more, especially around the accessible parking area. We were only there about six hours, arriving very late and leaving early. We should have checked whether there was room for our trailer since this was a halfway stop while helping a friend move to WA. I can't blame Adventure Lodge for me not checking, or for the weather, but some extra salting after dark would have helped.

Sam was great when I called, very pleasant and helpful. The tenant next door was partying past quiet hours, and Sam took care of it right away when I complained. The price seemed very fair for the location. The room had everything I needed, though one side of the bed frame may have been damaged. No complaints from me.

UPDATE (29 May 2026): After my review, they made a quip about my part-time realtor job in a response three months later. It's now clear to me that Adventure Lodge sought me out online and posed as a fake client to post a false negative review on my broker's Google business page, presumably in retaliation for my review of them. I've added photos of that. Entirely unprofessional. (Feb 2026) The place would be lovely if the renovations had been done properly. They didn't use wall anchors or drill pilot holes into studs to secure wall-mounted, load-bearing fixtures, so I can only imagine what else is lurking. I expected a tiny but clean, newly renovated room for the $180 a night I paid. Instead, the cleanliness and workmanship were poor, management didn't follow through, and they doubled down on denying that they had offered a refund. It's unacceptable. I arrived at 10 PM on my first night and skied all day the next. Many problems built up or became apparent on the second day, which was the second and final night of my stay. Sam had promised a 50% refund and said they'd fix the issues for the next guest. Sam also asked me not to make light of the situation if I reviewed it. But Sam ultimately withdrew the refund, saying I reported the problems on the second night. Given that weak reason for denying the refund Sam had agreed to, I doubt the issues were really addressed. The photos and captions speak for themselves. Not shown are the stained window curtains and the bathroom exhaust fan that kept cycling on and off long after a shower. The basic picture is a motel with no on-site customer service, run by a property management company. Set your expectations accordingly. It might work if you're bringing a dog and don't mind a lack of cleanliness. I usually leave positive reviews, but this is an exception.

The host was responsive and helpful, and the rooms seemed newly renovated, though they're tiny. The main draw is the location: Heavenly Village is an easy walk away. At $250 a night, the small rooms felt overpriced. The driveway hadn't been cleared and someone was injured. The shower area was cramped, and the water pressure was so low that it was hard to warm up in the cold winter.

Sam was great, answering our questions within five minutes every time. The place was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the location made everything less than a 10-minute trip away. I'd absolutely stay again, 10/10 recommend!
