We'd been to Tahoe many times but had never found a place like this, right on the water. Our second-floor lakefront condo was a great choice, with incredible views. We spent time on the deck with coffee, breathing the fresh air and listening to the waves. We'll be back. The condo has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, and can easily sleep six. It came with a refrigerator, cooking range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee kettle, and dishes and cutlery. They even provided a free log for the fireplace. The front desk staff were the kindest we'd met in Tahoe compared with our previous stays. Check-in is at 4pm, but they gave us the keys at 3:15. Safeway is within walking distance, and there are lots of places to eat nearby. It's a great option for couples or families.

The lakefront location and view are what make this place worthwhile. Being only 50 feet from the water is rare, and there are plenty of places to eat within a 2-10 minute walk. There's also an elevator. I liked the hallway carpeting, which completely cuts out the noise from rolling luggage, and the staff were great. I'd come back, but only in the cooler months. Prices are reasonable then, and with no AC the warmer months can be uncomfortable. If you open the patio door for cooler air, you may hear neighbors who are still awake. Rates nearly double in the warmer season. The rooms are decent and somewhat spacious, though the floors creak, which could bother guests sleeping below or in the same room. There's no free breakfast, but you may already know that. Spa services are closed Monday and Tuesday. The pool is heated and well maintained, but still too cold for me to swim. The hot tub and dry sauna were great.

We were on the third floor, and it looked like every unit had a lake view, though I can't be completely sure. Our place was clean, comfortable, and easy to get in and out of. We booked a unit with a kitchen, and it was stunning. We loved staying here and I definitely recommend the hotel. Thanks for keeping the place so well maintained, and congratulations on that.

The lakeshore view was beautiful, and the sunset was lovely while we roasted food by the fire. We could get a marshmallow stick from the front desk and cook whatever we wanted at the bonfire just outside our room. A nearby little slope ran down toward the lakeside, about 30-50 feet long. It wasn't very fast, but our kids had a blast sledding there. The nearby piers were closed, which was disappointing, but walking along the beach was just as nice. We made a last-minute trip to ski at heavenly and booked this lodge over MLK weekend. The hotel was completely full, and I saw a couple come in looking for a room and get turned away. The building looked a bit dated, as we'd expected from the pictures, but it was well maintained. Our room was spacious and had a kitchen, which was handy even though we barely used it. There's a Safeway and a whole food across the street. Our room faced the lake, and the water was about 50 feet away. Check-in was straightforward since we'd already paid. We paid about $650 total for two nights. Highly recommended, and a decent price.

The hot tub was a fun stop after walking on the beach, especially with those light snow flurries. The complex was quiet and well maintained, and we could walk to several shops and restaurants. Check-in was quick, and the condo felt cozy and extremely clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and an amazing view. We slept really well on the great bed, pillows, and linens. We only went to State Line once and took a Lyft back. The bus is free, though we didn't use it. My only small suggestion would be lamps with charging ports. Just a first-world convenience we noticed, definitely not a deal breaker. We really enjoyed our stay.
