Deerfield Lodge at Heavenly

The staff were awesome, and the interior design was lovely. The room was spacious, and self check-in was easy. The electric fireplace looked really cool, though it was a little loud. The bathroom was sparkling clean and even had makeup remover wipes, along with everything else you need. A great place to stay near Lake Tahoe.

That June weather was lovely to enjoy from the back patio, and we even had a bird nesting with her eggs right outside our door. The location was nice too, far enough from busy downtown. Our clean, spacious room had a fireplace that was great for both warmth and atmosphere. We enjoyed the stay.

We’ve stayed here twice now, and it’s a handy base for the Tahoe Strip and trail heads. The room was clean and the staff were friendly throughout. They’re dog friendly, which is a big plus for us. We brought our two German Shepherd Dogs and found a welcome basket with treats, towels, and poop bags for them. There was a nice selection of pastries and coffee in the morning. We’ll stay again.

The outdoor grass area had hammocks between the trees and a grilling area that my family and I used. We also had two bathrooms in our room, each with a shower, plus a huge jetted tub in one of them. After hiking and biking, soaking there felt like magic for my aching bones. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and I slept comfortably. I liked the snacks in the room too. We had a great stay, and if we come back to Lake Tahoe, we’ll stay here again. Highly recommend.
