Forest Suites Resort

The suite was clean, comfortable, and had everything our family needed, including a full kitchen. We only booked one night and wished we'd stayed longer. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus, and the front desk staff were really kind and accommodating. It was our first trip to South Lake Tahoe, and we felt welcome here. We'd book again if we return.

Our family of six had a great stay. The king suite with a pull-out bed was cozy and spacious, and the pool and hot tub were clean and warm. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choices, including store-bought baked goods. There was also a daily schedule with wine time for a couple of hours, two hours of s'mores, arts and crafts, and a game room with foosball, Xbox, a pool table, and more. Given the price and amenities, I'd recommend it.

We had a two-bedroom suite, room 602, right across from the pool and hot tub. When we couldn't mirror our phones to the TV, someone from the front desk came over during his break to help. He was very kind and helpful. The staff, location, and sense of safety make this feel like a four-star hotel to me, even though I'd rate the hotel itself three stars. Great trip, and we'd love to stay again. We can't wait to come back!

The service was excellent from the front desk to housekeeping. Everyone was friendly, efficient, and helpful, and I can't recommend the place enough. I was in suite 101, which felt like a lovely little apartment, and the full kitchen had more appliances than I'd expected. The hotel is in a picturesque spot with a gondola passing overhead, and cute shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. If you're coming to Lake Tahoe, do yourself a favor and stay here.
