The fireplace made the place feel cozy, and the location was great. Everything was nice and very clean. I forgot my necklace, but the cleaning staff called and held it for us until after breakfast. They were so kind. It was an amazing stay.

Our room was cute, cozy, and very clean, with a fireplace and kitchenette. Parking was easy, right in front of the room. Rosy, the housekeeper, noticed we'd left a blanket behind and offered to bring it next time she was in our hometown. Thanks, Rosy. I'd definitely recommend Heavenly Valley if you're coming to south lake.

Rosie called after I left something in the room and said she'd hold it if we wanted to come back for it. We were already too far away, but I appreciated that she found it and took the trouble to call. That's never happened to me before. The people were very nice, and the service was fantastic. It's a cute, rustic place, easy to get to your room from, and convenient for everything nearby. Thank you, Rosie!

We came for two nights, and at first the place seemed cozy and welcoming. Then the toilet stopped us from going skiing in the mountains on Saturday as planned. We waited for someone to fix it, but the problem remained, so they moved us to a smaller room and only offered a refund or that we stay there. After that, the PIN didn't work either, and sorting it out took over an hour. It's frustrating and unfair to spend a trip dealing with problems instead of enjoying it. I would have left a good review otherwise.

A great base for exploring Lake Tahoe, with the lake and plenty of restaurants only 5-10 minutes away. Heavenly Valley Lodge at Lake Tahoe has that cozy mountain-retreat feel, and the rooms have fireplaces and small kitchenettes that are genuinely useful. Room service was excellent and made the stay more relaxing. It would suit a peaceful break or a romantic getaway.
