Hotel Becket’s location can’t be beat, and the continental breakfast had lots of options. The kids especially loved the waffles. Staff were helpful and accommodating when we needed to extend our three-night stay because of a storm, and someone even helped dig our car out afterward. I wish the room had been cleaner: the bathroom floor was dirty, and the chair looked like it had never been vacuumed. Still, we liked our stay and would come back.

The location was the best part for me, right across from Heavenly Village, a six-minute walk to the gondola and slopes, and close to restaurants. Casinos are a quick walk over the state line. I paid $10 a night for parking, and there were plenty of spaces during my winter weekday stay, though I can see it being difficult at the height of summer tourism. My room was warm, clean, and comfortable, with a good bed, newer appliances that worked well, and a hot shower that didn’t leak. The free breakfast was standard BeWe fare: scrambled eggs, potatoes, and turkey sausage. I don’t eat pork, so that was great. I appreciated it when I had time, though an earlier start would help skiers heading to mountains other than Heavenly for first chair. For the price I paid, it was an excellent place to stay.

The room was comfortable, clean, and well kept. I did hear some noise from the neighboring room through the thin walls, which was the only small drawback. Staff were friendly and attentive, check-in went smoothly, and they handled my questions quickly and professionally. I really enjoyed staying here and would happily return.

We had two adults and two young kids in a room with a king bed and a set of bunk beds, which the kids loved. The main drawbacks for us were no microwave or bathtub. Breakfast in the restaurant had a great selection, but it didn’t start until 7 a.m. The hotel is right across from the Heavenly Gondel and shopping area, with a Target across the street too. Our stay was fine. Check-in was very busy that night, but the receptionist was doing her best and moving as quickly as the system allowed. Parking was a little tight at times, though we always found a space, and there is a parking fee.
