SCAM ALERT! I was planning a New Year's stay with a group. Even after seeing the reviews, I wanted to give the place a fair chance. Then the property called asking for a deposit because our group was large, due before the 15th. The cancellation policy said I could get all my money back up to two days before the 29th. It made me wonder whether I'd ever have gotten that deposit back if I paid and then canceled in time. I called booking.com right away to ask if this was normal. They said asking for money outside the original booking goes against their policies and rules. Once the booking is final, a property can't ask for extra money unless a deposit was included in the contract, or it could be penalized. I reported it to booking, canceled, and they're investigating. Stay safe!

There was no AC, just a fan, and summer evenings got hot. Opening the window meant leaving the blinds open to get any benefit. The bathroom and shower were cramped, and while the price was lower than some nearby places, I still thought it could be a bit better for a decent stay. On the plus side, check-in was fast, the staff were friendly, and there was plenty of parking. The room was big enough, with a fridge, and the bed was decent and clean. It felt safe, and the popular shopping area was about a ten-minute walk away.

Check-in was easy, but the room had no AC and only one fan. It got so hot that we drove home a day early. The pillows and bed sheet and cover were stained. I'm glad we brought our own sheets and pillowcases.

Such a nice little spot, and the people were lovely. Great service too. We'll definitely be back!

This was a spur-of-the-moment stay. We felt safe because our room was at the very back of the complex, in a hallway with just a few other rooms. Still, there was no chain lock on the door for extra security like most hotels have. The only cooling was a fan. The windows opened, with security bars outside and plastic-style plantation shutters inside.
