The Elet Hotel

The room was updated, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of parking. Elet Hotel is also within walking distance of many places, including Heavenly Village. But when I first inspected the room, I found several strands of hair on the pillows and sheets. The bed linens looked like housekeeping hadn't cleaned them well, and under a UV light I saw a spatter of gross stuff on the sheets and pillowcases. There were also nail clippings beside the bed. The heater and AC were quite loud, the shower pressure was weak, and the water was only lukewarm.

The location was great and parking was easy. It's a clean, simple place with snacks included in the room, and it worked for what we needed. Just know it's not a full-service hotel. The bed could be more comfortable, so if you're sensitive to that, you might not be happy.

We were able to get our room key early without waiting for the office to open because they texted us a lock code that morning, even though we arrived before check-in. The room had enough space for two adults and our three-year-old, who was happy with all the cartoon channels on the TV. The fridge worked fine, too. We booked The Elet Hotel at the last minute and were very pleased. The bathroom was spotless, and the hallway smelled so good. You could tell keeping everything clean was a priority. My only small complaint was that the heater worked but was louder than I'd have liked. Otherwise, no issues.

We made a split-second choice to stay here after getting caught in a snowstorm, and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are clean, friendly, and modern, and the location is about as good as it gets. Customer service was impeccable, and they even include free snacks. My girlfriend and I will definitely return.
